Lights Information

  • Game Type: Slotmachine
  • Software: NetEnt

Today 7Slotmachine reviews the online slotmachine game: Lights, designed by game developer NetEnt. In this game everything involves fire flies. The fireflies count as wild symbols and every spin will make them appear in groups of 2,3 or 4 in different positions on the reels. NetEnt calls this feature ‘Floating Wilds’ and this means that you basically always get two wilds per spin on the reels, which is awesome. Less awesome is the location and setting of the game. Lights features a eastern theme somewhere in a valley with some background music that makes you feel sleepy. Be sure to keep your eyes open during this game, LOL.

Yesterday we reviewed and back tested the other NetEnt slotmachine game, Aliens. That game was quite visually enhanced whilst Lights is a fairly simple slot. Simple symbols, simple graphics and basically just simple overall with just 9 win lines. This makes the slot easy to understand but unfortunately winning doesn’t come with any spectacular video effects at all. The symbols on the slot consists of fire flies, several eastern lanterns and 10,J,Q,K,A card symbols. Then there is a scatter symbol, which looks like a yin-yang sign. Whenever you spin three scatters, you will be awarded 10 free spins. With 4 scatters you will get 20 free spins and with 5 scatters you will get a massive 30 free spins. Whilst playing with the free spins, there will be three to six floating wilds per spin on the reels, so you have more chance of winning big money, compared to normal spinning, which is why we play the game in the first place.

Lights Slotmachine review conclusion and experience

I kinda like the game but it’s certainly not my favorite. It’s good that the slot is so easy, without any difficult to understand bonus games and what have you, but the floating wilds add not so much to the game, because of there being just 9 win lines. What I personally dislike is that the bonus feature doesn’t come up so often and that I had to spin quite a lot of times before it triggered. Never the less I recommend trying the slotmachine out some time, especially if you’re in to simple video slots.
